    About DoTheBouncy.com

DoTheBouncy.com was set up by a group of like minded Rangers fans to provide a friendly and fun forum for supporters of all ages, in an environment free from sectarianism.

Since its arrival in 2006, the forum has grown in size dramatically and now ranks as one of the most popular Rangers sites online. The site recently added an up to date news site to provide news and member's articles on your favourite club, and hosts a large range of features, including an automated predictor league, online games, club information and more.

Our aim is to provide the most up to date information on Rangers F.C. and offer a friendly and relaxed discussion forum to chat with like minded Rangers fans.

    Rules and code of conduct

To keep DoTheBouncy.com the most friendly and informative Rangers news site and forum, we have set out rules to ensure everyone enjoys the site. We ask you as Rangers fans to follow these rules to ensure the site remains an enjoyable experience for all. If you are unsure of anything detailed below, give any moderator or admin a message and we will help you out.

Posting Rules – dos and don'ts.

    Do:
    • Feel free to express your views. We don't bite, so don't be scared to post!
    • Do Not use text speak it can be annoying and frustrating.
    • Check and see if there is another recent thread on the same subject if you are about to post one.
    • Try to keep threads on topic as much as possible.
    • Keep threads to the relevant forums – if you see your thread has moved to a more appropriate board, we will leave a redirection topic in it's place.
    • Please name your source! If you hear a rumour, or gossip, then remember to quote where you heard it, even if its from a friend in the pub. If you are quoting another website, ALWAYS post a link to them.
    • The only exception to above, is please do not post articles or stories from other Rangers fan sites.
    • Feel free to contact the moderating team if you have any queries whatsoever. Administrator's names are in Red, and moderators name's are Yellow in case you need us.
    • Use the report button if you see something offensive. This alerts the admin team and we can deal with the problem immediately.
    • Feel free to contribute in other ways – for example if you have an idea for a story and would like it published, contact the administration team and we will be happy to put it on our front page. Likewise, if you are a Photoshop whizz then feel free to showcase your talents in the graphics area. The site is open to all to contribute, so please do!
    Don'ts:
    • Sectarianism – DoTheBouncy.com will not tolerate sectarianism in any shape or form.
    • Discrimination against others – reasons including, but not limited to, gender, age, race, religion, disability and political persuasion will not be tolerated.
    • Spam – Administrators take a dim view of anyone spamming the forum for commercial gain or otherwise. Accounts spamming the forum will be banned instantly.
    • Advertising – advertising goods or services without permission or license from the site administrators will also be banned instantly. If you wish to sell or buy tickets or other items related to Rangers, we have a dedicated board for that reason. Should you wish to advertise on our news site or forum please contact our administration team for further information and prices.
    • Only one account per user is allowed, there is no need to have duplicate accounts
    • Insulting other members – this will result in either a ban or a warning. We all have different views, that's why we are here, but resorting to insulting others will be punished.
    • Don't post anything illegal, offensive or distasteful.
    • Don't sign up to our forum using a proxy server. We check IP addresses when you sign up, and will ban members who do. Proxy sites are sites which mask the user's IP address with another.
    • dont verbally intimidate or abuse any other member of the forum. we are all entitled to voice our own views and opinions, so keep s civil
    • Don't troll, accept that others may disagree and leave it there.
    Supporters of other clubs

We welcome supporters of other clubs such as teams from abroad if playing teams in Europe or similar, as long as they contribute and follow site guidelines. We do not allow supporters of other Scottish clubs to post on our forums; we are a Rangers forum and will remain a Rangers forum.

    Live Streams

We are not responsible for the content of links provided by our members for online streams of football matches or otherwise. Any copyright issues should be directed at the hosts of the content. DoTheBouncy.com does not host any live streams and is not affiliated with any organisations who do.

Members are requested to post links to streams in a single thread and not to post them in different threads in the forums.

    Signatures & Avatars

You can post an image known as a signature underneath your posts. Information on how to do this can be found in the graphics forum. You could also add a link to your Facebook, Bebo or similar, or put in some text. Please stick to the below guidelines.

Signature images no bigger than 500px x 200px, and in .jpg or .png formats NO animated .gifs.
Signature filesize must not be over 100kb.
    No comments from posts
    No advertising without admin approval
And follow the dos and don'ts guidelines for content.
Avatars should be no larger than 120px x 120px.

We have a graphics team here who would be willing to make them for you if you wish. Just post in the graphics forum explaining your requirements and they will get back to you when they can.
Be aware that you need to have accumulated 100 posts before making a request.

    Complaints

Any complaints about the forum staff should be sent to an administrator and we will reply as soon as possible to resolve the situation. Please do remember that all our Mods and Admin are doing this on a voluntary basis.

    Suggestions

We are always open to suggestions on how we can improve the forum. If you do feel there is something we could do to further enhance your and everyone else's enjoyment of the site, feel free to contact us.

    Thank You

We appreciate you taking the time to come on this forum and hope you enjoy it. This can only happen if we respect each others views and differences. Constructive discussion is good and we look forward to your posts. Thank you for taking the time to read over our guidelines and enjoy your time on the forum!

    Another Bump.

I know it can get tough when the team is off form but there's no need to get abusive.
