An Uphill Battle

After the midweeks poor performance and the devestation of going out of any Euopean competitions after christmas the last thing that Rangers need in the SPL is a trip to Pittodrie.
It had shocked me to find out that since Walters return to Ibrox for his second spell Rangers have yet to produce a win. We very nearly did last season when De Marcus Beasleys late goal was ruled offside by inept refereeing. The last time we won at Pittodrie was when we won 2-1 thanks to goals by Sionko and Novo, very surprisingly under the management of Paul Le Guen , whose tenure at Rangers was short and disappointing.
Walter and his team will have it all to do if Rangers want to retain their place at the top of the table, all be it we have a game in hand against Dundee Utd. That game however holds no guarantee of any points as Dundee Utd have shown they can also be formidable opponents as was seen by their gutsy win against celtic. Points seem to be easier to lose than gain at the moment.
Lets hope Walter has a game plan and can get into the minds of our players because they really need something to happen to get them playing to their strengths and not their weaknesses. We have not seen the best from our Rangers team for quite some time so if ever was the time to get it together that time is now.
