Danny Wilson Expected To Start On Saturday

The Rangers website reported yesterday that Walter Smith expects Danny Wilson to partner Davie Weir at the heart of the Rangers defence once more on Saturday against Kilmarnock. Madjid Bougherra was originally expected to make his first appearance for the club in over a month but is still away on international duty with Algeria and is not back in Glasgow until Friday.

For this reason Danny Wilson is expected to maintain his place in the team at the weekend. The young 17 year old defender has been impressive form since stepping into the side, with standout performances against Dundee, Unirea Urziceni, Dundee United and St Mirren, the Ibrox legions will not be worried about the youngster being handed a start once more.

One thing is for sure is that Danny Wilson has a bright future ahead of him in the game, if his early performances are anything to go by. Good Luck to Danny on Saturday and good luck to Madjid Bougherra, we at Dothebouncy hope your dream of qualifying for the World Cup comes true.
